There are interesting stories behind the origins of many of the songs included, but one particular song on this tape has special meaning to the group. The Man's Name Is Jesus was written by an inmate at a Virginia prison where the chorus performs a few times each year. This song was arranged in the barbershop style by Brethren in Harmony founder Bill Holsinger, and it includes a narration about the person of Jesus written as couplets comparing His positions as God and man. Due to the inmate's prison situation, he cannot be identified and his song cannot be published. Brethren in Harmony is the only group authorized to perform this song by agreement with him.
